Removing an account from a Chromebook deletes all account information from the device. This is sometimes required for password resets, shared devices, or as a troubleshooting step.
To remove an account from a Chromebook, click the down arrow next to the account name.
If a new login screen does not appear automatically, click Add Person in the bottom left corner.
You will see a new login screen appear. Follow the prompts to sign into your device. You may be asked to change your password if you have requested it from IT.
If you see a message asking you to enter your password to update your Chrome profile, enter your password again and press Next.
