The browser cache is a tool used by your web browser to speed up loading times by saving content to the computer, instead of loading it each time a site is visited. Sometimes this cache can save old or corrupt data that causes issues with websites. To clear your browser cache in Google Chrome, follow the instructions below.
- Click the 3 vertical dots in the top right corner, select More tools, and then select Clear browsing data
- In the pop-up window, select the Advanced tab
- Set the time range to All time
- Check the boxes Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files (This will sign you out of any websites you are currently signed into.)
- Select Clear data
- If the issue still persists, repeat this process but check off every box in step 5.
